This peeling gel is a light pink color with bits of strawberry seeds in it which are used as exfoliants. This product is described as a 2-step dead cell care which includes cellulose peeling and enzyme peeling. This can be used for all skin types and it claims that you will have smooth and radiant skin after use.
Claims:- Smooth and radiant skin
- Dead Cell Care
Squeeze about a nickel size of the product (as shown above) onto your face and smooth it out all over your face. Gently massage the product into your face for about a minute or two and you should start to see chunks of either product or dead skin coming off your face. Now there’s been a lot of debate as to whether the chunks are actually dead skin or just the product rolling into chunks, but I personally believe they are dead skin matter (as shown above) because I see less of it if I use this more often. Now all you need to do is wash the product off your face and you’re done! Use about 2-3 times a week.
After I use this product, I suggest always using a moisturizer because it tends to dry out your face a little bit. As for the scrubbing aspect of this product, I think it does a great job at removing dead skin and dirt from your pores. It doesn’t really leave my skin that soft, but it does a great job at removing flaky skin. Keep in my mind that I have very dry skin on my face. I noticed that after I started using this product regularly, new acne problems have not been coming up on my face which is definitely a plus! The scrub is not at all abrasive to your skin so I would say you could use this product more than 2-3 times a week. Not nearly as abrasive as the
St. Ives Apricot Scrub.
The smell is also a plus! It smells just strawberry yogurt! Sooo yummy I want to eat it, but of course I stop myself!
I would definitely repurchase this item. It is kind of pricey for a scrub/peeling gel, but it’s also worth the money. It’s great for sensitive skinned people like myself and it works on all skin types.
